Tucked away in an inconspicuous parking lot with a 7-11, Sushi Ota is a gem. We often see Japanese eating here, which is a reliable measure of a quality sushi restaurant. Don’t expect it to be cheap, but you pay for quality, and the sushi here is simply worth it.
Everything is fresh. Presentation is on point. The service is reliably good. And, despite the fact that this is a relatively small space, the atmosphere is conducive for an excellent date night.

Sushi Ota shares a small plaza with a few other businesses, and the front lot can be jammed. Luckily there is also a lot behind the restaurant. This is accessible via Bunker Hill St., which is just prior to the plaza. Once you turn onto Bunker Hill, make a LEFT in order to find the parking lot, where any of the spots labeled ‘two hour parking’ are fair game.
